New Drive 08 Venue

The event where UK limousine chauffeurs show what they can do in their limos will have an even bigger audience in 2008 when Drive ’08 moves to The Professional Drive Event, held on April 20 and 21. The interest in Chauffeur Drive ’08 has been growing steadily and the organisers had therefore begun searching for a long term venue for their special event and have found it at Farnborough Five in Hampshire.

Hampshire will be home to around 7,000 square metres of show space during Drive ’08, including the opportunity to drive some of the world’s most impressive luxury and chauffeured vehicles. Of the limousines on display, there will also be hundreds of pre-owned stretch limos and luxury executive cars, such as the Bentley Arnage and the Millennium Town Car.

The new venue in Hampshire has also meant that Drive ’08 can now incorporate a drive experience, in providing a 6 km and 9 km circuit, covering a variety of road conditions, high speed acceleration, braking and chicane handling, with the circuit managed by Brandscape, UK’s leading driving experience company.

The Farnborough Five will be displaying luxury cars and limousines, manufacturers, operators and chauffeur drive firms. The new, state of the art Farnborough Five is fully air-conditioned and has purpose built conference rooms where Drive ’08 will hold a number of seminars. These seminars are free and will be offering help and advice for those wishing to break into the chauffeur business, as well as tips for those already working as chauffeurs.

While there are limousine shows all over the world where limo hire companies can gawk and choose the newest and often the most expensive luxury cars to add to their fleet, Drive ’08 is a great opportunity for chauffeurs to catch up on the latest developments in their industry too.
